This past weekend I traveled to the stunning city of Florence, Italy, and indulged in fashion, food, and everything Florence. Switching from French culture to Italian was a minimal shift, but exploring

the ever-so-wonderful Ponte Vecchio with a fresh mozzarella panini in hand is all an American girl could ever want when studying abroad. I was able to stare at the gorgeous fresh leather that would be for hanging for sale on every street corner and smell the freshest, most divine gelato aside from the Italian pastries made daily. This trip is one I would recommend to anyone that takes a liking for new fashion, a gorgeous view, a pleasant breezy stroll, or pasta!
While I couldn’t do everything I wanted within the three days I was there, this trip was not short of anything academic, cultural, and action-packed.
The city is small in the distance and highly walkable, so get your most comfortable shoes and a good pair of sunglasses and pack your bags for Florence, Italy!
This trip taught me how to appreciate fashion, food, and culture. After a trip to the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo, and the galileo, I struck a newfound appreciation for architecture within Florence's beautifully crafted aged structures.

The beauty of the city is how well it has aged. As the sun shines across the Ponte Vecchio, to admire the beautiful reflection of the buildings, I couldn’t help but think to myself how magnificent this city truly is.
For the top spots, you need to check out the following:
Gallelo museuo for culture
